Inside Alsace is an independent English-language guide created to help international visitors understand and experience Alsace more deeply. The project combines local knowledge, first-hand research and carefully checked practical information.
What this site is
A small, deliberately narrow set of guides to the places and decisions that matter most on a first trip: the Alsace Wine Route, the village of Kaysersberg, the town of Colmar and the question of where to stay. More guides will follow as they are researched, not to fill a publishing schedule.
What this site is not
- It is not affiliated with any tourism authority, wine body, town hall or commercial operator in Alsace.
- It carries no anonymous "travel experts", ratings or user reviews.
- It does not publish opening hours, prices, transport schedules or market dates until they have been verified — an out-of-date number is worse than none.
How information is maintained
Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last reviewed. Practical details are stored as dated records rather than woven into prose, so they can be rechecked and corrected without rewriting the page. Anything not yet verified is labelled as such.
